To understand the complexities of the global economy, its structure, dynamics and contradictions, theory is essential. We need to delve beneath surface-level understandings, discerning the underlying mechanisms that govern the creation and distribution of wealth. It necessitates going beyond economics, exploring the social organisation and ideological underpinnings that shape the market. Develop a systematic understanding, knowledge and critical awareness of current and complex issues in Global Political Economy
Develop a comprehensive understanding of a range of research techniques as they apply to Global Political Economy.
Develop new hypotheses for explaining the way in which some aspect of Global Political Economy might be explained.
