2150I am a new member of staff working in one of the schools. I need to have access to Cognos and the central database. How can I get access to these systems?
You need to raise this with your School Administrator who will then complete the online form located at sussex.ac.uk/its/help/newstaff
Your School Administrator should provide details of which database screens and Cognos you should be given access to, or give the name of an existing member of staff on whom access can be based.
If you are a temporary member of staff you will not automatically receive access to some of the Administration features in Sussex Direct, e.g. the ADMIN and SEARCHES tabs. If this access is needed, then itservicedesk@sussex.ac.uk should be notified by your School Administrator and the expected leaving date for the temporary member of staff should also be given.
