In Word, how do I double-space an entire document?
To change the line spacing for the whole document:
- Select the whole document by:
- Pressing CTRL+A or
- From the ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë tab, Editing group; clicking the down arrow next to Select and choosing Select All
- From the ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë tab, Paragraph group, click on the Dialog Box Launcher icon - small icon bottom right hand corner of the group
- The Paragraph dialog box is displayed, check that the Indenting and Spacing tag has been selected
- Under Spacing, set 'Before' to be 0 pt, set 'After' to be 0 pt and 'Line spacing' to be Double
- Click on OK.
