The programme comprises of a small insight exhibition demonstrating the Roma and Sinti experience within the broader Holocaust narrative; however, its main purpose is to invite thought and enquiry around contemporary issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion pertaining to all people of Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller-heritages, as much as it situates the Roma/Sinti treatment under German National Socialism. The focal point of the programme is the screen showing of Roz Mortimer’s ‘A Deathless Woman’ described as a ‘powerful and poetic account of WWII Roma genocide and its contemporary resurrection’. We will conclude with a panel discussion drawing on the various elements of the programme.
