Computing
Technology-Enhanced Learning Environments
Module code: G5065
Level 6
15 credits in spring semester
Teaching method: Lecture, Practical
Assessment modes: Coursework
On this module, you'll develop your understanding of how digital technologies can be used to facilitate learning.
It covers established methods of using computers for learning before covering innovative and cutting edge applications. It focuses on theories of how people learn and looks at how these theories influence the design of learning environments.
Module learning outcomes
- describe the main tenets of the leading learning theories which underpin technology enhanced learning environments;
- evaluate technology enhanced learning environments;
- select technology enhanced learning environments for differing needs and contexts;
- design technology enhanced learning environments which embody theories of learning and, conversely, identify the learning theories and assumptions underlying existing technology enhanced learning environments.
